Ronald HARDCASTLE and Eva BERENTROTH
My
father Ronald Hardcastle was born 26.10.1933 in Leeds as the
first son of
Arthur and Christine Hardcastle.
He was - like his brothers Dennis and Brian - stationed in the
British Army of the Rhine since 1952 and met my mother in 1955.
My mother, Eva Berentroth, was born 05.08.1928 in Dortmund as the
daughter of
Friedrich Wilhelm Berentroth and Johanna
Berta Lydia formerly Teckentrup.
My parents married in Iserlohn, Germany 30.12.1955.

My father worked as an Air-Traffic-Controller at Düsseldorf Airport and my mother as a nurse at Elisabeth-Hospital in Rheydt.
